In a small city like Alpine, every dollar counts. With limited commercial development, we don’t have the same revenue streams as larger cities, making it even more important to manage taxpayer resources wisely.

I believe residents deserve to clearly understand where their tax dollars are going and how those funds support our community. That’s why I support creating a Citizens Budget Report—a simple, straightforward tool that breaks down city spending in plain language. It’s not just about numbers; it’s about building trust and accountability.

We can’t afford wasteful spending or decisions made without community input. Alpine’s budget may be small, but with careful planning and transparency, we can stretch every dollar to support the things that matter most.

Being responsible with taxpayer money isn’t just good policy, it’s essential to keeping Alpine the kind of community we all want to call home.
