Transparent, Accessible Leadership

City decisions should never feel like they’re happening behind closed doors. Residents deserve straightforward information, real opportunities to give feedback, and confidence that their voices are being heard.

I’ll work to improve how we communicate as a city. That includes clearer, more accessible notices for public hearings, so residents know when and how to get involved—not after decisions have already been made. I also support tools like a Citizens Budget Report that breaks down where tax dollars go in plain language, so everyone can understand how the city operates.

Better access to information means better outcomes. I believe city leaders should create open lines of communication—whether that’s through improved websites, community updates, or more face-to-face conversations. When residents have the facts, they can help shape decisions that reflect the priorities of the entire community, not just a few.

Good government starts with listening—and I’m ready to listen.
